As a teenager, I had very little self-confidence. I was shy, reserved, and never really comfortable in my own skin. Getting into weight training changed everything for me. Finally, I had something I could thrive at. With every bit of progress I made at the gym, I not only became stronger, but also more confident, more disciplined in my everyday life, and clearer in my mind. This discipline shaped me. For years, I lived according to a plan—training, nutrition, supplements, everything down to the last detail. And yes, it worked. But at some point, I realized that things don't always have to go 100% according to plan to achieve results. It's more important that training, nutrition, and routines are integrated into everyday life in a way that fits with your lifestyle and makes it coherent.
What many people don't see today is that the internet is full of coaches, strategies, and promises. But hardly anyone talks about how important it is to include real life as well. Relationships, jobs, inner satisfaction—all of these are just as much a part of the process as calories or training plans. For many, so much more would be possible with significantly less effort if they managed to adapt things to themselves and their own everyday lives. That is precisely my job as a coach today.
Bodybuilding taught me the meaning of structure and discipline. But I also learned that you can constantly realign yourself in life without losing sight of who you are. There are phases when other things become more important. Those who understand this don't stand still; they grow.
